In Rennes, a unique collection of bacteria to preserve the food heritage!

The CIRM-BIA (International Centre for Microbial Resources dedicated to Bacteria of Food Interest) manages a collection of approximately 4,000 bacteria of food interest.

As part of the UMR Science and Technology of Milk and Egg (STLO) in Rennes, it welcomed a journalist from the newspaper Le Monde to talk about its missions and research.
