BRC4ENV Environment Pillar

This pillar brings together 4 CRB members of RARe who manage biological and/or genomic resources useful for research in the field of agroecology, to describe, document and characterize the various components of the environment, and develop processes for biocontrol of crop pests.

BRC4Env

The BRC4ENV network of Biological Resource Centers and "environmental resources" collections preserves and distributes biological resources (biological material and associated data), securely and with optimum traceability. BRC4ENv supports fundamental and applied research on agro-environmental bioresources.

These biological and/or genomic resources are sampled from soils, sediments, waters, cultivated or natural ecosystems, and conserved in organized collections. They include microbial consortia, as well as animal and plant resources whose management or propagation do not depend directly on human intervention. BRC4Env makes these resources available to researchers in academia, industry and civil society.

CRB members of the Environment pillar

ColiSa : Manages a collection of ichthyological samples resulting from the fusion of historical and recent samples from numerous aquatic specimens.

EP-Coll : The CRB EP-Coll aims to develop collection and maintenance services for various species of oophagous parasitoids, as well as providing expertise in molecular, morphological and phenotypic characterization.

GenoSol :  The GeneSol platform (INRAE Dijon) aims to provide a logistical and technical structure for acquiring, preserving, characterizing and making available soil microbial genetic resources (DNA) derived from large-scale sampling (several hundred to several thousand corresponding to large spatial and/or temporal scales).

IBG (International bank for the Glomeromycota) : A collection of fungi that form a symbiosis with the arbuscular mycorrhiza, essential for mineral nutrition and plant health.
